Fall and Spring Semesters -
While attending the LCWS program in the fall or spring students will pay regular tuition to their school while paying an enrollment fee to LCWS. This fee covers the expense for housing in a fully furnished apartment including all utilities plus high-definition cable TV and wireless cable internet. It also pays for the books used in classes, the end of the semester luncheon meal, a ticket to a theater show or other special event attended as a group, entrance to any paid museums done as a group, registration for amenities at River Place, and possibly other events that may come about during the semester.
Application Deposit = $250 (Non-refundable) Paid before application deadline
Tuition = Paid to school as usual
LCWS Housing and Program Fee = $2,600
*Please note that some schools have different cost for the program so please check these figures with your campus representative.
In order to help with travel expenses to and from Washington, D.C., the LCWS program offers a $300 Travel Grant available to all students. See our Admissions page for more information.
Students cook their own food so costs vary for food depending on how much grocery shopping and how much eating out is done. Students should also plan to spend approximately $50 per week for public transportation including trips to and from required LCWS events.
